Reviews and what makes Clary Lake Bed and Breakfast a beautiful and relaxing end to your travel days.

June, 2023: The B&B was quiet and casual, with gardens and open space, and we woke up to birds singing. The hosts were friendly and gave guests plenty of room to do their own thing, and they had their own living areas. The 1850s-something farmhouse was genuine and not fussy or overly decorated. Many nice places to eat were available 20 minutes away down pleasant rural roads. Local healthy delis with local fare weren’t open the day we were there. Breakfast was not fussy and delicious, with many options, and in a pleasant setting on an enclosed porch surrounded by trees and shrubs and flowers, and more bird
Stayed at Clary Lake in June 2023, after never having used a B&B before in the USA, on arrival, the house instantly felt like a home away from home, with the most gorgeous antiques and quirky nik naks. It has the freedom to roam, you can make drinks and snacks at any time, and basically it has every single amenity that you could possibly need, should you forget something from home. The owners are fabulous, and accommodating in every way, and the aspect which stands out most is they are very much people orientated, willing to share as little or as much contact and info, as you might want. If ever I come again, Clary Lake B&B will be our go to place to book, thank you both so much.
Rick and Linda are the quintessential hosts. Loved our 3 day say and wish it could have been longer. I think Randy would like to take up residence in Rick’s workshop if the chance presented itself. Saying goodbye was like parting with old friends. We hope we might be this way again! Randy thinks he put on a couple of pounds, the tasty breakfast might have contributed. We’ll definitely tell all who with listen. If we’re back his way we certainly will stay with you. Fabulous breakfasts and beautiful room. Rita and Randy, Valencia,CA

Thanks for a wonderful stay. I learned so much in the woodworking class and enjoyed all the experience. I would love to come back and take more classes. PS Can that be my room from now on? Matt, Nova Scotia
